Kelleys Island 2009

Post by Sean Gallagher » Tue Oct 13, 2009 7:33 pm

I figured I'd post up somethng about what has become a venerable midwest tradition. The Kelleys Island (Ohio) annual LEAKOIL bus campout.

Kelleys Island is a small unspoiled island off the coast of Northern Ohio roughly halfway between Cleveland and Detroit in Lake Erie. For the past 10 or 15 years, no ones really kept an offical count, LEAKOILERS have been "ferrying" here for a bus gathering over Columbus Day weekend.

Here's a link from the LEAKOIL site to the psuedo official postcript: http://www.leakoil.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=703

Here's a few photos if you don't do the link...

Ah man.. you make me want to go camping right now!!!!
The best navigators aren't sure where they're going until they get there. And then they're still not sure.
