Saturday meet up in PDX????

Post by IFBwax » Wed Apr 22, 2009 4:22 pm

Amishman is in town to pick up his new green WEsty. Anyone available for a quick brewski somewheres around 1pm or so?

My work schedule bites. I get off work at 5:30 Saturdays. Don't get me wrong, I'm certainly glad I have a work schedule.

By the way, where I am buying the bus is from Lake Oswego. I need to install the engine bay foam before I head out is my goal. Then once that is done, I know she is good to go. Hopefully there is someplace near by that is an easy meet spot. One that does not have 1 way roads that screws with new to the area minds <grin>.

I went to Portland once and I think I ran into some one way roads. Not as bad as SF, CA though. Me and big cities don't like each other. I am a nature boy and like wide open spaces of nature myself. :flower:

Lake O eh? Not too familiar with that area myself. How about you Dave? I know of a cool brew pup in Tigard called Max's Fanno Creek Brewpup just a stone's throw from Lake O and Beaverton? Maybe we could meet there for lunch around 1sh?

Hmm. Don't know much about Lake O.

I'm interested though there is an outside shot my brake booster will be back from Dallas. In which then I will be under the bus trying to establish power brakes again.

In fact, Tigard is where I will be dropping my rent a car off at the Hertz there that AM before going to the gals house and getting our new ride. :bounce:

If you all want, I can PM you my cell # and maybe I can get anyone's that is interested and once I know I am road ready, can let you all now.

That may help.

Just send me a PM of your cell and name and I will respond back with my info.

That's no surprise. They don't let guys like us into Lake Oswego anyway!

I take it Lake O is pristine place or something that only card carrying folk can get in. <grin>

Jack 'n' the Box is relatively new on the Oregon Landscape. A late-comer. No in 'n' outs that I know of.
