Hey guys, I'm sad to say that we won't be able to make it out to Galena this time. I have volunteered to help my Uncle get his place in the U.P. in order so he can sell it.

Maybe next time.

Was hoping to meet you in person. Things come up, though. I'll let you know the next time we head that way.

Was just there. Too bad the campout isn't now. I like this time of year. It will still be good, just different. Hopefully it will be cool temperatures that weekend. I'll be there in two weeks as well. This year spring is delayed a bit. Very nice.

Looking forward to meeting these people. They all seem like hilarious characters. No offense intended of course.

Who else is bringing extra people? I am bringing my better half, Mandy, my two daughters Alice, 8, and Eden, 5, and my dogs Truman, 2, and Lola, 1.

So my total is 6.

Well yeah, but the coyotes might not howl at the appointed time, and the owls might get spooked, and the frogs are unpredictable, and the new sound system protecting the berries will be in full effect I suspect. But WW is always cool, no doubt. I found a bunch of cool new stuff the last time.

I am not going to be able to make the trip to Galena. I have to work next saturday, followed by a visit from Colin, followed by work Monday. Have a good time.
I'm all out of ideas and I've tried nothing.

I expect to show up sometime Sunday with my wife. That is unless Colin finds any major problems with the bus during his visit on Saturday.

Considering the heat and humidity that came down today and looks to hang over us in Galena this weekend I'm proposing a change of venue. There are other options which might be cooler in the literal sense of the word. I'm thinking of Illinois Beach State Park up in Zion. Or alternatively the many options along the southern tip of Lake Michigan, such as Indiana Dunes State Park, Indiana Dunes National park, Warren Dunes State Park, or Allagash or Yankee Springs in Michigan. Let's have a poll, OKAY?

Or because the season is starting and you know the dunes will be crowded for sure, let's all buy supersoaker squirt guns at the walmarts so we can remain somewhat cool. There are a few swimming holes but they are not exactly near, or even legal for that matter, Wooded Wonderland.
