Long story short, I chose Phoenix Inn in Bend from 6-15 to 6-20.

My 6 yr old doesn't get out of 1st grade until the 12th. Phoenix Inn was rated 6 out of 31 on Trip Adviser. They are doing a complete remodel. New beds, linen, blah, blah. Downtown location. Rates are good.

I'll take two lazy daze to get there. Two lazy daze to get back.

The second week of my vacay will be about resting at home without having to awake to the alarm clock. Yea! And the 28th is our clubs first co-sponsored car show. I volunteered to be a staff member.

I read over Sun Rivers site with passion. It seems like a place I'd like to go to with just the wife. ( wink, wink ).

At the advice of a board member, I just got a book called, "Bend, overall" by
Scott Cook.

Nice piece of literature. It was hard for the wife and I not to notice that nakedness abounds in them there pages. Ooo La La

You sure that publication is about Bend, Oregon? Sounds like it just might be about something else.

Wonder if the book was typed one handed? Or was the keyboard on the floor?
