I guess we could have survived off of Mark's beer coupons. Seriously, it took me a solid week to come down from the happy-induced high.

Great coverage! Spiffy and Copilot deserve a print of their classic two-shot. Who knew a Splitty has vents above the windshield?

Hee hee, that is great!!! Thanks for the coverage Wayne!! The pic of your wife stabbing the cereal box is awesome!!! I wish I would have had the chance to chat with her more as this was the first campout I have had the pleasure of meeting the IFBwax clan.

About the vents, static said it best: "that thing does a great job of blowing a ton of air right into your ear". LOL, funny and true. Actually they do a great job as the wind really gets sucked up and comes into the bus at high speed. Simple and effective design.

So THAT's what a Wilson is. I had a hunch. :) How many Wilsons are out there? Do I need my own, or does your Wilson protect the whole camp?

The tradition that has been started is that I (except for the one that Gypsie made me which made me cry like a baby) make one up for those that I camp with as I consider these folks to be my good friends. I still am thinking about what I want to do for LiveonJG but I need to wait for one of my Croc's to wear out first....

John...just kidding.....maybe :geek:

Hiya Spiffy,

Hey! What happened to the "bridge of Bill's nose"? Looks like he got punched right between the eyes. Is that an inherited dent?
I have cancer.

It does not have me.

Yep, inherited dent without a black eye :geek: I am going to fix it when I replace the window seals. For now it is part of his charm :blackeye:

Great pics Wayne! That beer tasting was a most excellent idea.

What do you suppose Mark would do if we all just showed up, claiming squatters rights or manifest destiny and just didn't leave?

Anyone in?

You are kidding, those things are made of industrial strength rubber they will never wear out. I think the patented moulding process is called a Garment Induced Rubber Layer Special Style High Oxidized External System.

More commonly known as G.I.R.L. S.H.O.E.S.

All the ones I've seen that leak just have a piece of pinchwelt around the lip of the windshield opening. All the ones I've seen that don't leak have an actual seal, usually the same stuff that's used for Westy poptop seals these days. Looks like pinchwelt but has a rubber bulb on one side.

The repop kits all seem to come with the pinchwelt though .. or at least all of 'em that I've seen. They don't HAVE to leak...
