I just pm-ed you. Let's meet at your place. We can always retreat somewhere if the winds start howling at 6pm. Colin, are you OK with this plan?

If it was anything like it was tonight, it will be very nice tomorrow! The weather here is a little warmer than Ocean Beach and not quite as windy. Anyone and everyone is welcome. PM me if your coming and I will give you directions and my cell number in case you get lost.
Hope to see you all tomorrow!

Oh darn, sometimes ETA and ETD just don,t match up for meeting like kind of folks. Hope it works out for as many as possible and think it is really kool that sailorkriss offered up his space. Have fun and take pictures again like last year. The ground shots in the parking lot , fabulous  Or was it 2 yrs ago? Holy Moly ~ got more than gray hair on my head :drunken: B/E xoxo

Haven't heard from Colin yet, just Hans and Dylan. I'll check back for messages when I get home from work around 6. I live in the Alameda Marina so you can mapquest directions from there, and if you PM me and you have a cell phone, I'll call you with better directions. It's a very nice day here today, should be a equally nice evening.

Colin should be meeting up with you all. He left my house in Healdsburg (Sonoma County) last night around 8:00 after a surprise-filled, mechanic bashing, Itinerate wrenching session. I know he's looking forward to it. I wish I could join you all (pesky employment).

I thought it was the pizza joint until an hour ago when I read the same thread you are reading right here, apparently it is a marina in Alameda.

We all got together in the Alameda Marina (thanks Kris for your hospitality!) and a wonderful time was had. Unfortunately, no one had a camera. Sorry to have missed you Tim. Where is this Irish Pub you speak of?

Sorry I couldn't make it. The old lady and I couldn't get our shit together last night.

Not an Irish pub but
this side of Ireland
You've been there I believe - Toronado (Haight and Fillmore).

..actually Tim, you were represented last nite by a small boat hanging in the adjacent lot with the name 'H I P P O' painted on its side

Kris, thanks for setting it up..its was good to see everyone and discuss the finer points of air-cooled madness..

Man, I gotta stop running so hard. I coulda used a little more beer in my system. It was good to see the San Francisco/Greater Metropolitan Area contingent and fix Bob's engine hatch stay. Dummass here actually had a camera.

(beautiful exit from the region up the I-5, the city vista had a cloud cover that made it glow underneath and you could see the stars above. Camping spot was beautiful too, stars and more stars with the Big Dipper hanging right over the hills. Woke up to three curious sheep looking at me)
