Itinerant Air-Cooled

Celebrating 20 years of Bug-a-Palüza! Returning to Camp Jordan on April 21-22, 2018.

This two day festival features a VW car show with classes for air-cooled and water-cooled, a huge swap meet with vendors selling new and used parts, and a campout Friday and Saturday nights. Plus plenty of food, contests, prizes, and more. Emceed once again by Dr. FieldingGood. Custom hand-crafted trophies will be awarded at 3PM on Sunday.

All proceeds benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Chattanooga. Last year we raised $25,000 for the Ronald McDonald House, help us top that for 2018!

Online registration for show cars and vendors is now open at https://www.bugapaluza.com/. We encourage online registration because space is limited and fills up quickly the day of the show.

Spectator entrance is just $5 per person for the entire weekend. Children 12 and under admitted free.

Show cars - $20 pre-registered or at the gate. (pre-registration recommended). A $10 non-judged entry is available if you just want to park in the show grounds, if space is available.

Vendors - $20 per space, 10'x20' (basically one parking space). Multiple spaces can be purchased to accommodate larger vendors.

Camping - $5 per person. The RV lot is open and power/water is available on a limited basis (not guaranteed. It is up to Camp Jordan).

I didn't take pictures as I was busy in the swap meet or resting at the campsite. The weather Friday and Saturday was perfect and the rain held off on Sunday until all the camping gear was packed away. I scored a complete FI system for a early type 3 (68 - 69) including fuel pump and distributor for $30.00!
I also picked up a pair of 72 - 74 heater boxes and the muffler in very good shape for $100.00.

Always my favorite show and this year didn't disappoint!!!
