in the next 20 years, the vast majority of semi's will probably be driverless and, and, there will be lots less accidents due to that.
And who will I be able to yell at when it does happen?
Love the optimism that you'll be around to see it despite the cigs, carb cleaner ingestion via lungs/skin, diet cokes and the other bad health decisions many of us have made in our lives!
You weren't there when I walked into a customer's fetid apartment in 1989 in Los Angeles. I was almost knocked out by the stench of cigars. The ceiling was brown, the walls were brown up to the drapes line, then sort of white to the windows. Whiskey bottles all the way across her mantel.
"I'm 97 years old! I am not leaving until that George Bush fellah is OUT!
My doctor used to blahblahblah quit this quit that until I was around 67!
He told me after that, 'whatever you're doing seems to be working!'"

@ Tris - Yeah, sadly, not high enough on the food chain to borrow that.
@ Mr Skeptic - When we looked at some of the owner/op trucks that came through, yeah, some truly beautiful pieces of chrome and steel. I think they could be converted/saved, however, their aero is rather dismal.

Looking forward to this weekend all year! Emma, my daughter, has been asking about when it is since Christmas. Looking forward to hanging out with all my bus friends and family. I heard a rumor that the godfather himself, Colin, would make an appearance? Tell me the rumors are true.

I can't say when it typically sells out, as Mark (the organizer) is the only one getting registration forms, but it's often very full. There's only a limited area for bus camping - one giant circle, maybe 80 meters or so in diameter. With it being two weeks away, it's probably very close to full. You should message Mark for its current status, deschutestrout is his user name here, as I recall.
I can also forward you the PDF registration form as well. It has his phone and e-mail on it and he doesn't seem to be on the site too much. Just PM me with your e-mail.

“Star Wars storm trooper sterile”! Brilliant description...really sums up the appearance of that soulless truck. Brings to mind the boxy American sedans of the mid to late ‘70’s. Man, talk about boring. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...

Get on ‘yer registration form! He accepts cash at arrival, so there’s no excuse!
I’ll be leaving Saturday night so if it does sell out you can tap in for my spot.

The heat is a coming, don’t worry. I’m coming down too on Saturday. Probably take the new 72 yellow orange westy I just picked up for the cousins. You won’t miss it. It’s bright and shiny.
