I paid the ten bucks and Bertha is going to represent in the parade. Vintage auto, of course.
Saturday, July 8. Early. Parade rolls at 10 am.
I need two spotters, to walk ahead of the bumper to ensure no tragedies occur.
Tomorrow, wash Bertha, heat will determine the schedule after that.

Those years are breathing down your neck, eh Bob? Giving Bertha a final wash before taking the TR-3 to her in an effort to spruce her up a bit for the parade. Any tips on shining up hubcaps? Just a good wax?

Whoot, what fun! Dressed her up with four pinwheels, two off the side mirrors, two off the top of the roof rack. We got a Participation Ribbon.

Round two. Bertha's second Amboy Territorial Days Parade. Waxed her. First time since I've owned her that I've applied a coat of wax. She looks better than last year with just the TR-3. The parade starts at 10 am. Come on up and partake of the festivities, or even ride in Bertha in the parade and rifle a few hard candies at the heads of children in the audience.
