Itinerant Air-Cooled

Coming soon to a shop near you, (if you live near Athens GA) is Volkstock #7. It is a weekend long tech session where we assist each other with projects on our VWs. We start Friday evening and end noonish on Sunday. The shop can accommodate 4 cars and the driveway several more.
Dinner is provided Friday and Saturday night. Saturday lunch is Friday's leftovers. Sunday breakfast is a cruise to the local Golden Coral to gorge on the buffet.

There is also a swimming pool, a fridge full of beer, and space to camp or, if you speak up soon enough, there are several rooms available for sleeping during the weekend.

If you live close enough to think about joining us......come on. The more the merrier.

I'd like to put a steel plate in my 002 transaxle between the nosecone and bearings.

Got a milling table? I need to resurface the nose cone housing .040" to pull this off.

One of our members does have a milling machine in his garage. It is about a 25 minute drive from the Volkstock location, it can be done.

Whatever you think will work best. Clyde (the milling machine guy) says that between the two of you he is sure it will be done, correctly.

Colin- Clyde is ready to help you with your transaxle.

Zabo and Sylvester come on and join for a day or the weekend.

Less than a week to go. This is one of the best weekends our club has. =D> (and we have some good ones)
