Party at Hambone's

Post by hambone » Sun Nov 11, 2012 5:34 pm

Mark, AKA "The Trout" is coming to town, and my family is skedaddling for the weekend so we should all make a ruckus.
"Sure, why not?" :withstupid:

November 17! Next Saturday evening! :salute: Bring me some beer too.

There are a bunch of you guys coming apparently. Bring something if you want, or we can order a pizza. "Let your heart be your guide".

I have dinner plans for earlier in the evening but might try to make it afterwards. I've been way to scarce these last few months.
Chorizo, it's what's for breakfast.

"The Trout" will be arriving mid-afternoon tomorrow! Bring your instruments if you have them. Or just yourself.

I have a kazoo. Oh, and a large Native American hoop drum that doesn't really play well with anything else, so I'll bring the kazoo.

A washboard would be good for you.

Are there pictures of the festivities? I don't think it happened.
Up, up the long, delirious, burning blue, I’ve topped the wind-swept heights with easy grace. Where never lark, or even eagle flew. And, while with silent, lifting mind I've trod, The high untrespassed sanctity of space, Put out my hand, and touched the face of God.

Dunno if it happened or not, I didn't make it. I went to a Tesla Coil demo yesterday afternoon and got zapped by it a bit, sending my back into spasms. Didn't have this problem during the last Tesla Coil demo, but that time it was ~30 feet away from me and this time .. more like 6 feet away.

This was the little one, ~4ft high and around 300-350,000 volts. The bigger one isn't finished yet, but it's too big to fire off in the shop anyway .. 7-ish feet and Don's aiming for closer to 1,000,000 volts with that one. :cyclopsani:

Are they trying to send music and pictures over this one like Tesla wanted with his?
