Dang it, that looks like a blast. The drive-in. I fear I'm too busy prepping for the following weekend. How often do they do this?

Possibly if we can fit it in. They are showing Men in Black III and the new Snow White movie.
Chorizo, it's what's for breakfast.

They do this every year about this time. I have yet to make to make the event. I am planning on attending this year. Should be pretty fun.

I am hoping to go. Anyone know when gates open. I am hoping to get there early for back row parking.

Hope to see you there.
So it all started when I wanted to get better gas mileage....

I had the same question....

My Message
"What time do people start gathering for this event?

Thanks, Bill"

REPLY:
This has been a popular event and cars often start lining up by 6pm. Weather depending, the lot can Fill up by show time

I called the number last night and said that the gates do not open until 6:30pm at the earliest. I hope to see you there as well.

Last time I went a few years ago the line was already around the block by about 5:30. I'd get there as early as you can.

I've been to this and it is a super fun time. My bus is out of commission right now (alternator on order) but we've gone two times before. Last year they had the Coffin Cruisers there too which coincides with the VW nite - they are a group of Hearse enthusiasts - really cool interesting crowd with customized bad-ass death cabs. Definitely get there early.

Did anyone go to this? Remember sneaking into drive ins?
Up, up the long, delirious, burning blue, I’ve topped the wind-swept heights with easy grace. Where never lark, or even eagle flew. And, while with silent, lifting mind I've trod, The high untrespassed sanctity of space, Put out my hand, and touched the face of God.

I went! Saw Gypsy there. It was a blast me n' a ladyfriend made jiffypop in the bus during MIB, then I made the mistake of lying back and promptly passed out through SW.

The old previews and fillers were great, I think I timetraveled during intermission when wandering through a field of old bugs with an original preview for Snow White goin' in the background.
