Hastings, Wix, NAPA Gold, and Whatever Bus Depot Sends You fuel filters made in Jordan or Turkey.

These are not the Made In Israel filters. These are especially cheesy and have shrinking internal foam that breaks off once the filter starts rattling around inside the case. The danger is that a piece will lodge in your expensive fuel pump.

Test your filter by removing it and shaking it. If it rattles, it is done.

The "Made in Jordan" filter I just removed off my bus had the death rattle after less than three years and 2,000 miles.
