t.b. gasket

The gasket sandwiched between (F.I. )throttle body and plenum...should that be glued into place ? if so with silicon or other ?

If it's a brand new one, I'd say no. But mine is a bit old and hardened up so I used black RTV to make sure there are no vacuum leaks.

OK thanks. yeah, this one is old and hard too...so i figured the gaps needed to be filled.

I picked a new one up at my local VW dealer for $6 Part # 025-133-073 Listed as a vanagon part but it's the same
