F.I. Aux Air Regulator - How open should it be?

That's as open as it gets when cold, though it closes nicely when 12v is applied.

Can someone confirm it's supposed to open further?

I've looked at a couple of them in the past, a few off a vehicle and one new.....
Um,,,,To the best of my memory they didn't open all the way,,,,they opened very closely to what you have in the pic,,,or maybe a little bit more.....Sorry I couldn't be more certain,,,it was a few years ago.

I suspect they're adjustable at the factory and that's why. I'm just troubleshooting some problems with cold idle.

I confirmed with several folks that's about right.

There is a nut on the housing that when loosened allows you to open or close it more. Where it is in the photo is full open.

I put it back in with al new hoses and it seems to work fine. My cold idle problem is gone now too. Harrumph.
