Progressive carb -- one barrel (primary) does most of the running, the other one (secondary) is for extra fuel/air when the engine needs it.

That said .. look for a set of duals and get that POS out of there .. unless you switch to the Pinto engine that carb belongs on. :cyclopsani:

The original carbs are a far superior solution. goto Aircooled.net for good carb kits.
