My housing won't stay up in postion. The clamp bolt threads were stripped. Tried a hose clamp around steering column, slipped back down. Got a longer bolt threads were still good a little deeper, kept it up a little longer but it still slipped down. Tried hose clamp and the longer bolt still can't keep it up WTF am I supposed to do? Don't tell me viagra, it messes with my vision! Is there enough meat in the housing to tap it out to a 10mm thread? It's an 8mm now.

Re: signal wiper switch housing
Separate the housing halves. Note where they butt together. You want to file the contact area a bit. Also file the edges of the saddles that fit in those slots in the housing. This will allow you to grip the steering column more securely. The housing needs to be .050" from the bottom of the steering wheel to ensure that the turn signal self-cancelling still works.vdubyah73 wrote:can't keep it up WTF am I supposed to do?
