Dude, that looks amazing!! Tell me everything!! I'm about to have to do this on my '79 and it scares the hell outta me for some reason. I actually would have tried to bribe Colin into staying another day in NY and helping me with it if I had two nickels to rub together. I have a brand new Bus Depot canvas just waitin to go on the top-and I have to replace the top anyway so it's already off the Bus.

takes two people to lift the top on and off and install the canvas. I used a Construction air stapler with 3/4" staples not weenie staples to hold the strip in, all in all pretty easy but it takes time to clean everything!
Stoopid instructions were a joke as the pics were unreadable..copy of a copy?

Let us know the exact canvass you bought and how it holds up please. Looks great.
The best navigators aren't sure where they're going until they get there. And then they're still not sure.

it took from 10 to 3pm with lots of cleaning on the fiberglass. I got the canvas from Busdepot and its from JKCampers in England.
The biggest thing I noticed is that it lets in tons more light! yay, its not as dark as the OEM yellow canvas which made it dark inside. It is way thinner fabric but thats not bad IMHO. The 3 windows do let in alot more air too. =D>
