After that I took a paper towel and dabbed it on the wet scrubber pad. I used the paper towel to do a real quick, light buffing on the hubcaps. Heres the caps after buffing, again with 2 dirty ones for comparison:

I decided to clean up my old hubcaps today. I was tired of the dull, gray appearance of them. I used a box of brillo type soap/steelwool pads that I picked up for 99 cents. I then dried them with paper towels. Here they are after scrubbing, with 2 of the dirty ones for comparison:
