72 wiring diagram - high resolution

Post by grandfatherjim » Wed Aug 10, 2011 3:47 pm

Scanned these so I could print them onto large sheets so they'd be easier to read, so thought I'd put them up in case others need to see them:

Probably there are others already out on the web. These are high enough resolution that you can print each one onto an 11x17" sheet and be able to read them with only minimal strength reading glasses.

I combined the two sides when I first got my '72... was invaluable in re-wiring the whole darn bus.

Very nice. I see they do not show the wiring from the 4th gear switch to the switch for the vacuum advance on the distributor.
Anyone know the wire colours involved? Mine's missing and I'd like to get it hooked back up.

Also, is that fan at the front end a standard thing, or was it an option? Just curious.

OOps! I did it again! I can see them.
Up, up the long, delirious, burning blue, I’ve topped the wind-swept heights with easy grace. Where never lark, or even eagle flew. And, while with silent, lifting mind I've trod, The high untrespassed sanctity of space, Put out my hand, and touched the face of God.

Thanks, saved em both. Hoping I don't need them, but just in case.
