I will chime in here and state that I do not recommend Redline 90wt synthetic gear oil, the gear oil trumpeted by many.
The above article validated my concerns. I just noticed a lot of gear rattle with that oil, but the article states not for hypoid gear mesh, which our differentials have. Good ol' cheapo Sta-Lube GL4 is a magnificently appropriate lubricant.
