I like the weight savings; we'll probably get another 0.000078 mpg and an extra 0.000012 mph to the top speed with it on there, but still...plastic?

Thanks, but I have a metal one. The engine showed up with this pleeechstic one and I wondered if I had good reason to change it. I think I will.
(Talk to Brax Euro Parts in Divide (406-267-3321) about a Type IV thermostat. I have one off a junked Rivy in Arlee but can't bear to part with it.)
