Hey All,
Has anyone taken apart the tin to fix the rubber seal near the oil cooler/duct? I noticed that one corner of it has popped up and now it's across the duct area. I tried getting in there with needle nose pliers with no luck. I didn't want to take apart too much just in case..
Is it doable? (engine installed)
Thanks.
Lee

Re: Engine Oil Cooler Seal
That seal is buried underneath the left upper cover and that rear intermediate tin trapped under the lip of the fan housing. Big job to free the rear tin enough to reposition or replace the seal. I would work the seal above the cooler from under the car and remove it, if it is out of position and blocking air.drozdenko wrote:Hey All,

Re: Engine Oil Cooler Seal
Thanks.. I could "easily" remove it..it seemed to want to come out when I was trying to get it back on.
Maybe sometime this winter when I'm bored I'll take the tin back off.
