Replacing the flexplate on an 1800 engine (automatic). Cannot locate the manual (don't ask)
Ready to reinstall. Want to make sure that I have the correct torque. Do these numbers look correct?
FLEX PLATE BOLTS
61" lbs.
FLEX PLATE to CONVERTOR
30' lbs.
If not, what should they be?
Check my numbers, please?

Re: Check my numbers, please?
Round up to 65 ft/lbs and use blue Loctite on the flex-to-crank bolts, and round down to 14! ft/lbs on the flex-to-torque converter. Blue Loctite there too.kiltgy wrote:Replacing the flexplate on an 1800 engine (automatic). Cannot locate the manual (don't ask)
