I went to my FLAPS a few days ago looking for Permatex Aviation Form-A-Gasket (part # 80019) and they didn't have it. Instead, they had this product called Prime Seal Gasket Sealant Type 3 Aviation (their part #34000) from Versachem.
I compared the spec sheets and the two products seem identical. When my Permatex stuff runs out, I'll buy some of the Versachem stuff and see if it works the same way.

Re: permatex vs versachem sealants
Good. Things change. I have been vetting new fuel injection-appropriate hose part numbers. The NBR 7x3 appears superceded by Choline 2122.
