Frt. end rebuild

Post by 72Hardtop » Tue May 17, 2011 12:31 am

I'm going to rebuild the front end on my bus (1972) and was wondering where the good site/s there are these days in terms of decent quality parts? Particularly with the rubber items such as ball joint boots, tie rod end boots etc...

I've decided I'm going to stick with the OG ball joints and just clean them well and replace the boots. Everything else will be replaced accordingly. So far I'm looking at the following:

Ball joint boots
Left/Right tie rods
Steering dampner
Drag link
Swing lever center bushing

I replaced the steering box back in 2006 and it's still holding up well. Also replaced all the rubber brake hoses, new rotors, both calipers. Suggestions?

Thanks,

Jim
