Drop arm wobble - '77 Bay

How much should the shaft holding the drop arm wobble after the drag link is removed? No oil leakage but I have a slight back & forth wobble, maybe 1/32". There is no in/out movement detected.

Pitman arm coming out of the box? None. Your adjustment screw may take it out. Be careful. I use the 45* off center at the steering wheel adjust to zero lash. Gives just the right preload through center.

Am I correct in understanding each vehicle is a little unique in their adjustment?
