Wheel bearing greases.

Need to do a maintenance repack on two bay windows front wheel bearings (78 & 79).Seem to recall an entry that discussed a synthetic blend that was better than straight lithium. Could that reference be Valvoline Durablend or another product? What's the current thinking on wheel bearing lube for our cars? RDL

I moved your question here. Just above is a wheel bearing repack thread. Durablend is excellent, but you use less of it in the hub because it flows more successfully at very high temperatures.

Colin. Thanks for the reply on the Durablend wheel bearing grease. My NAPA has it.Will get a tub soon. Bob L
