Clutch or something else?

I'm a clutch noob and trying to figure out what is going on with my bus so bear with me.

When my bus is cold and I start in 1st or Reverse I get a shaky dadadadadada feeling. This goes away after a couple of starts from a stop and doesn't happen until engine is cold again.

I don't know if this is called chatter or slipping or neither. I had a similar issue in my 1992 Jetta and that problem was solved with a tune up.

I seem to have the proper free play in the clutch. (I say seem as I'm a noob)
I just did a tune up(valves adj, plugs,cap/rotor,adj points,timing) and no change.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Broken engine mounts on the mustache bar?

I'll have to check that. It does feel similar to a car with broken motor mounts.(also something I had on my Jetta).

The fact that the condition goes away when warmed up has me wondering, however.
