What is the effect of switching leads to the injectors, i.e. #1 &#2 reversed?

Nothing, on L-Jet cars like buses. All the injectors "batch fire" at the same time.

(On other D-Jet cars like some Porsche's and most Type 3s, the injectors fire in groups of two and need more careful wiring.)

Hi,
Just a couple of quick questions from this thread.
Where do terminals 5,16 and 17 ground to?

Where are the grounds on the case above the Temp sensor located/numbered on the wiring diagram?

Those three ground paths terminate at the three-spade ring terminal that is trapped by case bolt under the intake plenum. On the wiring diagram, they just show little dots on the bottom black line that is the vehicle ground. Sometimes, they'll have numbers written next to them that correspond with the list of ground points. Those are important grounds, do quality work.
