he is a great guy, he is in our vw club here in NEW MEXICO (even says we are in the united states on our plates). :geek:

they are using old bug chassis for the car but they are basically a new car when finished.

he is not using mexican bugs.

getting a mexican bug titled in the us is a pain in the rear, i tried to. no luck, would not pass emissions.

They look really cool. I'd think that that Bug-pickup would be a lot of fun. Imagine if VW had sold them!

Nice job, the guy really does quality work.
Military hardware is weird. Neat as hell, but then you think about the guys in the mud and blood crying for their families. A p38 is a classic example, so beautiful but a harbringer of death and destruction.
Even the Beetle and it's Nazi birth seems odd when you think about it, yet time changed including Germany. German Jews driving Beetles, hippys.
