Well I voted.

And it looks like Illinois has come through for the "progressive" Democratic party.

How's the rest of the country looking? Lets be objective, there are some "do gooder" Republicans that might fall into the Bay lifestyle. I say we get them some sandals, and start stinkin' up their feet. -peace.all.

So far early results look pretty good for the Dems. I'll feel a lot better about things tomorrow if the trend continues this way. No late night shenanigans this time. Good to hear about Illinois. Ohio's looking good right now. I don't want to feel confident just yet.

Great about Ohio!

Is it Oregon or Washington that is so evenly split?

Cook County Updated: 10:00 p.m. 11/7
Enact assault weapons ban?
Yes 7,751 0%
No 1,550 0%
Increase minimum wage?
Yes 7,346 0%
No 2,229 0%
Withdraw U.S. forces from Iraq?
Yes 5,732 0%
No 3,664 0%

Tell me we don't want gun control, or a decent living wage, or to get the hell out of Iraq!!! I'm made to feel like a radical. But am I, if 2/3 to 3/4 of the people feel the way I do?

Virginia is the cliff-hanger.

Yes, you are made to feel like a radical by radicals. . . . on the other side.
The fact of the matter is, our will has always been pragmatic and mildly progressive, but our will has been hijacked by nuts like the N.R.A. and other interests.
