Thought I'd say "Hi"

Post by nakedfrog » Thu Oct 05, 2006 12:14 pm

I'm picking up my first bus in three weeks. DurocShark pointed me over here from another forum. Looks like it should be a good place to get help when I need it :P
The bus is a 73 Riviera, and it's got a 1700 Type 4 in it. I've mostly only done work on my 73 Super Beetle, so I'm gonna have a little bit of stuff to learn.
But anyway, hi!

Ain't it chilly on that lily pad?

Do you have the stock carburetors? You have come to the right place.

Granted a naked frog is somewhat redundant... but... PANTS? That's just wrong.

Anyway, welcome to the forum! And congrats on your first bus!

Looks like someone switched it over to a single carb, dunno exactly which one it's got on it at the moment. Once I take delivery, I'll probably document the entire bus with pics, top to bottom, inside and out.
This bus was at "Busses Nowhere Near the Arch" a couple years ago, and another meet that I forget the name of.
