Just watched The French Connection. I lost count of how many VWs are in this movie. It has to be at least 30. Drove my wife crazy hollering every time I spotted one until she gave up and started trying to beat me to them. Good film by the way.

No BOT here, I watched From Dusk to Dawn, for the first time. Apparently I am an anomaly since this was my first time seeing it, when I told others they remarked "duh, you just seeing a cult classic?"
Up, up the long, delirious, burning blue, I’ve topped the wind-swept heights with easy grace. Where never lark, or even eagle flew. And, while with silent, lifting mind I've trod, The high untrespassed sanctity of space, Put out my hand, and touched the face of God.

Barry Lyndon by Kuberick. One of the best movies ever made. The rise and fall of a would be gentleman long ago, with all players now ashes.

The Human Condition, about WWII Japan. One of the finest movies I've ever seen. Almost 10 hours! 1960 B&W.

Re: What film did you rent or see last night?
I took the boys to see The Three Stooges. I laughed my ass off, my boys loved it. They did a really good job, I think Moe would have liked it. Filmed in Atlanta right next to where I work last year. Too bad I didn't know I would have walked in the background like a Quentin Tarantino movie.

Safety Not Guaranteed- nice little film with a twist ending. Shot in the Seattle area so that was interesting.
