Itinerant Air-Cooled Update Post

Hi!

I am in Miami. I am doing the first appointments of 2020. I do not even have the 2020 Itinerary Forum up yet.
I do not have time to put it up. We have come out of the starting gate at full blast here at the McIntyre Home For Wayward Volkwagens. Two engine overhauls in a row, plus a little Bugatti resurrection in the middle.
Please enjoy the photo dump. There is much work yet to be done.

Well good on ya!
Some people have a plan, some of us kinda follow the path of least resistance.
Just be sure you're doing all this because it brings you the maximum joy, not as a subconscious reason to procrastinate on getting that book done. You've worked on a lot of VWs, but you still have a book in you that needs to get out.
Where is the instant order button to buy one of those cool shirts?

Looking forward to seeing the 2020 Itinerary! MZ is having the same issue she's had for years. And I thought we had fixed it the last visit. My mechanics are stumped. We will prevail! :flower:

This is unacceptable! How long after Colin’s visit did it take to misbehave again?

Oh my lordy ... take apart the ecu and look for corona fractures around the solder joints especialy those solder connections that lead to the ground wires. Bright light and magnification required!
