Colin--60 miles West of Cheyenne is out of the path. Maybe you meant Casper? In any case, like I said, any pavement in the PoT is gonna be swarming with folks. Though there's plenty of Wyoming along US 26 to wander off of and into desolation.
Rooms at the Super 8 in Idaho Falls (for example) are currently $735 a night with a 3-night minimum stay, my sources tell me. We'll be in Thermopolis WY. Where's everyone else going?
