I am in rainy again Washington DC. One of the things about Gettysburg that I found amazing is just how "small a foot print" it really is. It struck me just how many thousands of people were there fighting and they were not very spread out at all. We did the "tour" and the guide pointed out that the "night camps" were alo close enough to hear each other.
Very somber and reflective to this very day.
