Hi all,

I'm heading to a giant VW parts swap meet tomorrow and I'm shopping for a few Samba members. I would like to extend the invite to anyone here in need of good used (sometimes new!) German VW parts; let me know if I should keep an eye out for anything for you. Feel free to PM me throughout the day or night and I'll keep an eye out. There is guaranteed to be something for everyone!

Get "junk drunk!"

Wow, that's quite the list. In addition to being 98% used parts, this gathering was the smallest I've ever seen. The plastic "import" cars are taking over the "import" section at this swap, (which used to be 100% ACVW.)

I didn't see a single piece of white interior ducting this time, unlike last time where I saw a cracking beat passenger side door duct. I think your list is going to need a bit more caring of a source then a few dozen guys who are trying to empty their storage sheds… For the sliding door handle, do you mean the outer handle? Or is there another on the station wagons that I'm not familiar with?

Either way, I still found a good used Liestritz muffler and VW heat exchangers ($140 total) for a friend's early bus, some thermostat parts for a Samba member, and few more doodads I'm messaging people about right now… The deal of the day was a $5 VW distributor drive pinion. Euromax sells one for $45.
