The Great Outdoors 2015

Post by sped372 » Sun Nov 22, 2015 7:28 pm

I haven't been able to post much this year because the kids keep me so busy. I put together a compilation of some of the things we did and places were visited, though, and thought I would share. So glad they love being out as much as I do!

Good to see your VW out on the road making memories! There are some on the forum here who desperately need to experience the road. 2016 . . . coming up.

Don't get me wrong, the bus is cool and all but it's primary purpose has always been to facilitate camping and traveling. Does it will for such an old car. Hoping the van will make just as many happy memories going forward.

I miss camping season already!

What kind of camera do you use?
I recently got a knock-off gopro and have been playing around with it.

I miss camping season already too! We have a Nikon DSLR. I learned the ropes on a manual film Nikon and this way all my lenses stayed relevant. I would have liked to take better footage but it's tough with a squirmy toddler strapped to your back! I do like carrying one device for stills and video alike.

That's a great video. Your kids are going to love it 30 plus years from now!

I'm sure someday I'll look back, too. Year was a blur so nice to have some kind of record!
