Some good hearted bus mechanic helped them out when they broke down in Delaware. Do we have a good community of souls, or what?

I like this Pope even better now. HastaAlaska could learn a thing or two about getting to your destination with only one break-down.

Hasta Alaska is now cruising down the Alaska coastline on a sailboat, looking for remote places to explore. Ben told me that his visa expires in November, and he may have to go back to Europe to get a job, get some money saved up, in order to come back next spring and deal with his transaxle woes. Supposedly, Rancho may have a solution for him. I invited him to winter here in Miami with us, but he must leave the country, and then come back with a renewed visa. What nutso immigration laws we have.

Maybe he should stick to the sailboat. Wind woes are simpler.
How many total miles did he execute in his VW travels?
