How in the world did he do that for $1000? I spent more than that on sand paper.

The kid has perseverance and talent. I looked at his link where he restored a Hobart mixer, which I have also done. Very cool bus.

With the looks of the garage, he was taught early and well by someone else. Give him props, though; that was a lot of hard work to get it looking that good with minimal money. He paid in sweat for sure. I found it inspirational...

Being the skeptic I am I wondered why there were no pictures of new panels (which surely were needed--that beast is ruuuuuusty) being welded on. That is, there's a big jump right to the end of the body work--the painting--making me wonder if there was really any body work done aside from piling on a lot of bondo. My money says that thing bubbles like a fried egg in a few years.

Read it.
It can be brought back to stock easily, should the occasion arise. I am grateful that he stuck with the running gear and fuel injection.
