Too bad he's got the scales/minishingles going in the wrong direction on the front hood. Makes me cringe just lookin' at it.

Wrong direction? They have to be that way to avoid lift-off at-speed.
They are the wrong direction for rain while parked . . .

That year, and the preceding one, the minishingles went in that direction.
