Me thinks the pic of the engine is the 'before' and not the 'after' ... states 'original engine as pictured rebuilt by local mechanic...'

Sure looks kinda beat and rusty for that kinda coin. If the engine was 'rebuilt' well ...then hmmm...

Rather have the good chassis than the rebuilt engine.
Engines are "relatively" "simple" to deal with. Rusted through sheet-metal, not so much.

It's in South Carolina. The guy's name is Aubrey, and he is friends with the guy I met on my trip, who has all the Autosticks in St. George, SC. I am pretty certain that this is the guy.
