I finally did it!
Got them on, 6-ply wildcats. I can feel a difference with the sway of the bus, it also got a bit more bumpy, and it doesnt look as cool. But, overall I think im happy. The white walls looked nice though
heres a couple pics.

I've got Rustoleum on my wheels. In "Aluminum". LOL

Hambone (and anyone else in the Portland-ish area), if you're at all serious about powdercoating your wheels I'd highly recommend a place called ColorFX up on NE 33rd north of Columbia. Great guys to deal with, good work, and quick turnaround. When I was still working at the DDB shop we started going there after Portland Powdercoating started giving attitude about not wanting to do "small-run jobs" -- y'know, tiny little pieces like a complete set of engine tin. :pukeleft:

Sluggo! Got a powdercoater in L.A. ? It is time.
I won't do the Ralphs Parking Lot
Paint-On-A-Shopping-Cart Show with wheels.
That would slow down my getaway if I had the car
all jacked up and wheel-less.

Not really. Bottomend knows some kid that does a pretty good job. He did his bumpers. I'll see if he can hook you up. Bottomend should be back in L.A. by the time you get here.
