Good luck! Very nice looking bus and the price seems reasonable.

All of a sudden a lot of interest. A guy from AZ is sending his brother to look tomorrow. Buses by the Bridge, he is psyched.

Great! I think the "summer camping bug" is upon us all. I've been doing some pre-purchase inspections locally, and going along with a gentleman as he looks at every bus in the San Diego area. I WISH he had the budget for this bus, as it would make my life easier. :drunken:

Well it's heading to Arizona. Good for old bones, dry heat, that poor Bus has rusted enough here in Oregon.
They are driving it back in July! Well I did all I could. It's weird, I'm not sorry to see it go, but it's still depressing somehow. Like a family member moving away. At least it's another VW I will

600 less, I can dig it. Going to Lake Havasu! Bus central.
That is a long f-ing drive for an early Bay. God bless them.

Right now I have:
$5.93 in checking
$6.45 in savings
and about $100 in cash. The brokest I've been since 7th grade! Hilarious. Now I'm gonna blow it all on lottery tickets. :flower:

Had a nightmare last night that I sold Bus1 too and was quite upset. Settle down weirdo.
July in the Clackamas! I'm doin it, hope some of you can join me out there on occasion. And then an August road trip or 2, thinking Central Oregon.
I will start a topic in Camping.
The Bus will be living in my garage another month, how weird...but at least I got paid.

So happy and sad for you all at the same time. I know this transaction had very deep roots into your being. Know that your energy is in there and will go a long way to making this bus last for another 40+ years. Camping in the deep woods...mmm. Yes. Must do...Maupin this weekend? It is very different without you there.
So it all started when I wanted to get better gas mileage....

BTW forgot to mention since I've been gone so long: Bus2 made it safe and soud to Lake Havasu, AZ. "Ran like a trouper" I was told.

It is a good feeling knowing that; I replaced almost every system and really didn't know what would happen on such a long trip. But I know I do good work.
Funny, got a bill in the mail from Golden Gate Tolls Dept. with a pic of Bus2. Didn't register, thought it was a scam until I saw the licence plate.
It is strange walking around my shop and seeing the little spare bits and pieces of the Bus Gone, bolts and washers, bits of wood. But without it gone I'd not have had this incredible Summer of Wilderness which I will never forget.

Ya know, I was thinking the same thing in reverse. Without this horrendous NaranjaWesty fuel tank nightmare descending upon me, I might not have experienced this incredible Summer Of Dirt And Leaves Of Every State Visited Thus Far.

Hey Bob, there's the spirit! Without letting my '76 go, there would have been no hiking around Summit Lake for me, and no watching Colin get s'more stuck in his beard.

Worth it,

I hope you too, (two) are having safe travels out there! Thinking of the lot of you, in all that solitude you know.
