Latest post of the previous page:

On a side note. The owner came by and installed a dash pad smoking the wires coming off 58b from the headlight switch. Something else to fix. :angryfire: I'll post pics when I get home. I am hoping to get the new linkage installed today. He is getting pretty anxious to drive it.

I got the linkage installed and carbs dialed in pretty good. Once that was done he came by and picked it up. He is driving it around now with no blinkers and only the rear brake light switch working, so the brake lights only come on AFTER he has stopped and pushes the pedal a little harder :pale:

He did come by to show off his shiny new rims and a recent detail job..

We really need to go through and check more for safety, but I may have to wait until he breaks down again :argue:

Front suspension is looking funky, beyond just lowered, the camber looks gruesomely negative - how are the tires wearing?

One of the safety related issued I wanted to tend to before he took the car. was the front end. Minimum a re-grease if everything looked okay, but I didn't get the chance.
