The interior is still pretty rough for my standards as it needs new door panels and I do have new carpeting to go in. I would love to do a body off resto on this car and maybe in 3 years it will happen...so for now its a fun sunny day car mostly original condition.

Its been in the 80's in Seattle finally, so I pulled the Ghia out to use it as a daily driver again. Its nice to drive around with the top down cruising but it is sure loud and smelly in stop and go traffic! Got stuck by the UW waiting for the Montlake bridge to open and close and it was hot sitting there for 10 minutes. Course, no one shuts off their engine except me so I was getting lots of fumes, whew. Finally got on the freeway for some air and views of Seattle as you really can see better with no top! We took it out again for a late night drive to enjoy the city lights and cool evening air, nice.
