Beetle taillight lens?

Anyone make a decent replacement these days for a '68? Ours are already fading to pink after 3 years. (original Hella on the bus are still bright red after 40 years)

Update: apparently not Hella anyway. There are plenty of used ones for sale on Samba. I'll probably go that route. How can a 40 year old part be better than brand new? Especially plastic, don't tell me we haven't made improvements since then. Bleeding us dry they are.

Hiya Bob,

I went with the European style taillights. I like those amber turn signals and I'm thinking that they get a bit more attention from the guy in the humongous SUV right behind me.
I have cancer.
