The paint (and the car!) continues to look outstanding.

.....Willy mentioned that for the first 30 days water drops must be wiped off to avoid permanent spotting.

Willy and I talked about this very subject before I roared off into the sunset. He explained to me that raindrops need to be wiped off the surface IF sunshine follows the rainstorm. Apparently the sun dries off the water quickly leaving deposits on the surface which harden in the sunshine. Not so important to wipe if the weather is overcast. That's what I got out of the conversation anyway.

It also has to do with the off-gassing that the new paint job has to do as well. I think I remember willy saying that when he painted my top. Hammy, your beetle looks wonderful!!
