In case it doesn't open it's the shot of that thing sticking out the left side.

It is a pretty car. I'm really like beetles lately.

Semiphore turn signals.

A great looking beetle. And the owner is mighty proud based on the asking price.

So what does that mean.. when you want to turn left is there a latch or something that deploys that or what? Does it light up? Sorry I'm so unknowledgeable in this area.

That one is gorgeous. Being Dutch it has my name all over it. Nice how you can always find a well-maintained castle to take pictures in front of in Holland. With the Dutch weather, the salt, the traffic, it is unbelievable that they kept that beetle so well.

I love 'em all. The bus had semaphores too.
These cars are looking better and better as I watch the new cars come out more and more grotesque.

Everything looks computer generated.........
Well when there is a vacuum (consumer demand) then a product will come about. We desperately need a fuel efficient, easily repaired, high quality, affordable automobile. Nothing manufactured today fits this bill, besides a motor scooter.

I think a Prius may come close. It's not super cheap but very affordable to own. It is incredibly durable and well built and obviously very fuel efficient. From what I've heard, repairs, if they are needed at all, are pretty straightforward too.

Ooooooooo all those electronics? And those complicated batteries? Wayyy to complex for a 13mm in the driveway.
I know you love yers but they are certainly built for hands-off folks with disposable income.

Let us know if this is still true if/when you've had to replace the batteries. I've heard horror stories and I'd love to hear from a real Prius owner if it's true.
